Chris plays an active role in the community, living in Warwick and being involved in many local organisations.
He gained a reputation as a hardworking and effective MP, supporting community projects, championing local business, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and having a record of challenging local and national government on a wide range of issues.
He is a member of the Warwickshire College Advisory Board, a Patron of Myton School, a Governor of Lillington Primary School and a Patron of the international development charity, Cord. Chris is very supportive of local charities and voluntary organisations, from Age UK to Guide Dogs.
In Parliament, Chris spoke on a variety of topics and has asked departmental questions on issues ranging from child mental health to support for the elderly. He has been a member of the International Development and Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Select Committees.
